Funday Sunday

Sorry for the last posting! The boyfriend came into town late Saturday, so I was hanging with him yesterday.

I started out the day with an egg wrap I was craving.

This was about 1 egg and 1 egg white with a slice of swiss cheese on a Flat Out wrap. I made an extra egg and egg white for the doggies who were begging from me. They love eggs, so I just couldn't resist. I added some paprika and ketchup to my wrap after the picture

One the side I had roasted asparagus.

Roasted with a tsp of EVOO. It was delicious. I love roasted asparagus.

The boyfriend and I spent the day watching How I Met Your Mother Season 3. It was fun.

For dinner, we went out to eat with my grandpa, dad, and my cousin. I can already see a problem with eating while I'm home over the summer. My family eats out A LOT. That combined with eating out with my friends. Yikes. I tried to make good decisions at the Chinese buffet.

With another plate of green beans.

After dinner, my cousin, the boyfriend, and I went to see Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time. My cousin saw it right when it came out and really liked it. Now, my cousin goes to the movies with me all the time when I'm home, but probably the last movie she REALLY liked was The Dark Knight. Most movies she either says she doesn't like. Or she says it is okay. So, I had to check this out. She was even willing to see it AGAIN AND go with me and the boyfriend. It was decent. Entertaining. Reminded me a lot of The Mummy. She is 14, so I think she might have one of her first movie star crushes. If I was 14, I would have loved it too.

I'm hanging out with my cats now, while the boyfriend goes on a bike ride.

The A-Team

Hello all!!

We went to see a noon movie about an hour away from us, so I tried to eat a large and filling breakfast!

I finally had the material to make overnight oats, so I put this batch together last night.

Topped with half a banana, cinnamon, and a Weetabix biscuit. I was so excited to finally try it. I thought it was a pretty good topping.

We saw the A-Team. I liked it, but I think I mainly liked it because Bradley Cooper is so cute. It was a fun action movie, and I like action movies.

I brought a wrap as a snack for the movie, but I ended up not needing it. I ate it around 7 instead.

Banana and Sunflower Seed Butter on a Flat Out Wrap.

I forgot to take a picture of my lunch, which was a salad at Moe's Burrito place. It was delicious.

I ran some errands with a friend, and she wanted Dairy Queen. I ended up getting a kid's meal.

Now I'm watching my newly purchased season 3 of How I Met Your Mother.

Suburb Food Tour 2010

On Wednesday my cousin and I took my dogs to the groomer in a suburb of Chitown. While they were getting groomed, we ate some food and went shopping! It was exciting.

Summer is 14 and a vegetarian. She has been on and off since she was about 12.

She had never had thai food before. So we ate some thai.

They gave us the soup of the day to start out with. It had a giant carrot in it. Summer was quite amused.

We shared an order of spring rolls.

They weren't that good. I've had better spring rolls for sure.

We both had Pad Thai with Tofu.

It was good!!

Afterwards we went to the mall for some Yogen Fruz!! I was so excited.

I had plain with mango mixed in. Yum.

Afterwards we went to Trader Joe's.

When we came back into town, we had a Chinese buffet.

I just watched the first episode of Losing It with Jillian Michaels. I have a girl crush on Jillian Michaels, so I liked it, but she is does try to play Dr. Phil too much. Anyone else watching? Thoughts?

Hello From Philadelphia

Hello all! I just typed up a long post summarizing what I had done since graduation (mostly moving and a lot of eating at St. Louis places) but it was lost. ugh.

I'll recap it later with more pictures! But, I'm back to a more regular blogging schedule. Roughly once a day! I'm also playing around with the title of my blog. Not the address, but I don't think Less of Me fits anymore!

I'm in Philadelphia with my mom for a convention.

Today started off with an unpictured egg and cheese biscuit.

Before we got on the plane, I grabbed this fairly tasty thing from the greek restaurant in the airport!

Inside was spinach and feta!

I also had an unpictured greek salad on the flight.

When we landed, I saw somewhere that had guava juice!! I love guava juice, so I had to get it!

The convention had a cocktail hour, but the food wasn't that exciting.

A group of people went to Hard Rock Cafe afterwards. They had the calorie postings right next to the entrees!! It was kind of scary.

I ended up getting the salmon.

It was actually pretty tasty! I was sort of surprised.

Tomorrow we are going on a movie tour of Philadelphia. I also think we are going to check out the Reading Terminal Market before the tour! It sounds amazing.
